Jeremy's 33rd Brithday

Last night we celebrated Jeremy's 33rd Birthday. As per usual Jeremy showed his total lack of patience for being photographed, so sadly there is no actual image of the birthday boy.... Luckily there were plenty of other more obliging subject matters willing to comply. HAPPY Birthday Jezbo!

"I looked it up on EBAY"

Children are far better at humour than their parents. This was proven beyond any doubt the other day when Ollie engaged in some lengthy dialogue with Papa about the inner workings of a pile of mulch.

Thankfully Papa is used to this type of conversation with Ollie and is well versed with any nerd like ponderings, so he was able to quickly think on his feet. The dialogue went something like this:

(Ollie) "Papa what is inside that pile of mulch?"

(Papa) "Much of the same as what is on the outside I expect, except it would be darker"...

(Ollie) "No its not dark on the inside"......

(Papa) " I think it might be Ollie"

(Ollie)"NO it isn't, I looked it up on ebay!"

Gorgeous!!!!!

Rosedale weekend

Last weekend we enjoyed a visit to Rosedale with most of the family. Judy organised a beautiful 4 course meal, prepared by local chef Jane. It was a great weekend, the only thing missing was uncle Davy.... Sadly for Rob we did not make any sitings of "Our Nic" hopefully next time.

He Aint Heavy

My 4 year old could do that!!!!!

Here is proof that children are definitely far more creatively talented than their parents. Ollie did this painting in about an hour, portraying a rainy day with planes and birds. Bloody amazing (says his mother) and much better than anything I have done lately.........

playgroup

Yesterday Angus and I were lucky enough to spend the morning with Jody and Ella, while Ollie was at Playschool. Ella has just started walking and was feeling very pleased with herself indeed. Angus was less than amused though, unfortunately. He was feeling very tired and was missing his Papa, who was away at Beechworth on holiday. Even his favourite fluffy hat didn't console....
